- Notes
- David and Steven were in the village. And their intentions of going there was to meet with the village leaders and mobilize them for the baseline survey. As the Kibo staff were in the village they found when the committee members were waiting for them because they had phone called them that they were visiting the village. The leaders were assigned a task by the Kibo staff of mobilizing the entire village for the baseline survey . David also explained to the leaders whatever they will be doing during the process of the baseline survey. They continued and explain to the leaders all the gar-jets for example the iPads they will be using during the time of the baseline. And which kind of questions and the importances of the different questions they hope to ask them during the entire baseline process. They had to explain so because they were creating more awareness to the entire village . After all that the Kibo staff asked the village chairman how many people were in the village. Because they wanted to make good arrangements during the baseline survey. The village chairman reported that they were totaling to about 1000 people. Mr Ali Hasifa also reported of the longer distances they were moving from were the government borehole was to where they stayed. Therefore they requested for if there was a chance of Kibo giving them another borehole. Hamuza the defense of the village also continued and reported about the longer distances their sons and daughters were moving to get to where the government schools were. On that note the Kibo staff encouraged the members to educate their kids. The village chairman was assigned to get about 6 to 10 members who were well versed with the entire village for the smoother ran of the baseline survey. In general according to to the sanitation status of the fewer homes they visited ,there was more need for improvements and the maintenances
