- Alex B and Chris met thirty seven members of Bupaluka about how to open a group bank account. This was after failing to open with centenary bank in Iganga town and yet is important for the members.
Saul the chairperson of the group reminded the members to continue caring for the living trees that was given to them by kibo group. He told them to give in suggestions that will help them to have a bank account.It was their fast meeting this year 2020 /1/15. He also reported as their garden project of cassava and soybeans was doing good.
Peter the treasury of the group suggested to review what made them zxfail to open one with centenary bank. He added that one of them was distance since it was expensive in terms of transport money from the village to town. They did not present all the documents required for them as a group to open bank account.
Alex B and Chris thanked the members for the love they had to have group bank account.It was good to try though they failed and it was also a good experience for them as members. They advised them to get a nearby bank and with a good reputation.The bank should be more efficient and with good customer care.They told them as it is important for all the members to attend meetings as they organize documents to present to the bank. It is important the signatories to know what is in all the documents before presented to the bank manager. They also advised them since it was their fast time to open bank account, saving account will be good for the group.They told to write what is required for them to open bank account down and go through all the documents one by one for efficiency.
