Notes
Harriet went to Sinde to follow up on the stove building process in the neighboring communities that had approached Sinde to help them with a skill of building stoves. She found some participants waiting for her at the meeting place . As soon as she reached other members also joined. An opening prayer was led by Betty Gusino. Harriet asked them to tell her how far have gone with building stoves in the neighboring community. They told her that before the Christmas break they had started working in Syanyonja village where by they had so far build 9 stoves in village . They stopped during Christmas break and they hope to resume very soon. They also told her that they have also started a village saving scheme that they will save for a full year and share their savings at the end of the year. Harriet encouraged them to go back to Syanyonja resume the work, reach out to other communities and help them too. Tito Samson told the group to work hard during the dry season before the rainy season where every one will be busy in their gardens. She also told them to maintain the savings culture in order to achieve development.
