Notes
Harriet and Tape went to Igerera B with an intention of introducing the Healthy and Safe kitchen program. They were recieved by the Chairperson LC1. They started by walking around the village to see whether members have facilities required for the Healthy and Safe kitchen program . During the home visiting they were mobilizing the participants for the meeting.while looking at their facilities 98% of the homes visited had the facilities required for Healthy and Safe kitchen program and these were kitchens, shower areas, some had smeared their facilities, constructed the fire risen stands for firewood storage. They later came at the meeting place and found some participants attending the village saving meeting . They decided to wait for the participants to finish their saving so that they also take an opportunity to talk to them. After the village saving the meeting begun with a n opening prayer that was led by Nairuba Esther. After the prayer the chairperson LC1 welcomed kibo staff to his village again and asked them to introduce the program to their village. Kibo staff first introduced them selves to the community and briefly introduced to them the healthy and Safe kitchen program . They told them this program aims at improving the healthy of the family through cooking, leaving in a healthy environment and eating healthy food. They asked participants to decide whether they feel the program will benefit them. By the saw of hands 95% of the participants welcomed the program to their village. Harriet asked the participants met on that day to agree on date, time and venue for the next meeting that will be convenient to them. By consensus they all agreed for the next meeting to be on Wednesday 29th January 2020 at the same meeting place. The meeting was adjourned and Harriet reminded them to mobilize those who did not attend the meeting to attend the next meeting.
