- Alex was in Butabira to meet with the village leaders and plan for the village WASH baseline survey that is expected in the village soon. During the last two meetings, Kibo group was introduced in the village and a day to conduct a baseline survey was not agreed upon well and so WASH had to plan a visit back to Butabira and together with the village leaders, they agreed on a day to carry out the baseline survey. The day for the baseline survey was agreed to be on 22/01/2020 and the village chairman promised to move around the whole village telling all people about what Kibo will be doing that day so that no one is in fear seeing the iPads when capturing the village data about their village sanitation status. Also the chairman has already prepared 6 people that will be moving with the Kibo Staff in WASH home to home while collecting this baseline survey data. These six people together with the village chairman know very well all the people in the village by name and boundaries of the village. WASH will prepare the group that will be deployed to conduct this survey and keep in touch with the village leaders to make sure the plan goes on as expected unless something else emerges that might restrict the planned program to take place.
