- Introduction
Manuela went to Kivule to review the previous lesson, after that she took the community members throughout adolescence stage. Reviewing lessons help the community members to remember all what they have learnt and it makes them to be on the same point with the teacher.
Overview
When Manuela reached the the village, she did not find any person at the meeting point even the chairman, but she decided to move home to home reminding people to come for life skills lessons, Manuela found some people preparing to come and the rest are cooking food for their families. Manuela decided to come back to the meeting point waiting for people to come.
After some times, people started to come but still on that day people’s turn up was low. Manuela started her lesson by asking the members about the previous lessons, Manuela asked them that what was the last the lesson that she taught them, only three people could remember the rest had forgotten, it took Manuela some times to review the previous lesson and after that, she introduced another lesson called adolescent and Puberty stage. She asked the parents that how many people have children who have reached the Adolescent stage ? Majority of the members do have children in that stage, she again asked them that how many people talk to their children about this stage and changes they see there children are going through, only five people said they do but not everyday.
Then Manuela told them that next time she will be discussing with them about that lesson and they should find ways of talking to the youth on how they can understand that what ever they are going through is just normal it doesn’t mean that they are ready for marriage.
Finally, Manuela told the chairman to mobilize more people to come for life skills lessons.
