- David and Steven along with kabugo the namutumba district HPM were in Namulu village to check on the borehole status as well as the sanitation status. While they were at the borehole they met with mr Omita Stephen the borehole caretaker. Omita Stephen gave the the Kibo staff and the h pm all the necessary information about the borehole.He said that the borehole originally had 7 pipes and one was taken away because it had issues. Therefore the borehole currently has got 6 old plastic pipes with holes on them. He said that the village has got a population of 120 homes which were using the borehole. He said that the borehole cylinder also had issues . He continued and reported that the water from the borehole which they were using was yellowish because of the pipes which were causing the contamination. The borehole chairman also said that during the morning hours it’s hard for some one to pump the borehole first and get the water from the borehole . It takes one pumping over two hours before getting the water .On that note the Kibo staff along with the h pm promise to have a-future meeting with the village any time in order to have the way forward. Later the Kibo staff along with the h p m moved home to home in the many different homes assessing the sanitation status of the village. However the status of the village was not meeting the rightful standards.

- 2021-01-27 - Purpose: Steven and Martin will make a visit to this village to meet with the village leaders to discuss on a way forward to re- engage the village in the water and sanitation program. they will find out the details of the village and plan for the baseline survey of the village.
