Notes
Martin went to Kagulu village to check on the sanitation facilities in the upper section of the trading center towards the health center. He walked around the village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Generally the community members have worked so hard on their home sanitation facilities like latrine constructions, dish racks, rubbish pits, shower areas and other sanitation facilities. Martin and the group was encouraging the community members to maintain their sanitation facilities like latrines, shower areas and kitchens , They were also encouraging them of the use of ash in their latrines to chase flies that spread diseases and smearing their houses to make their homes clean. In the trading centre, there four latrines well cemented as well as other sanitation facilities, even if not well maintained. After that Martin and the group went to attend the funeral because the Chairman sanitation committee lost his Mother in the nearby village called Bugiri.
