Notes
Irene went to kagulu to talk about poor feeding/malnutrition and the signs and symptoms of malnutrition/poor feeding. Irene started with a review of the previous lesson then asked the members the causes of poor feeding and the members willingly spoke out the different reasons and with much emphasis women complained of their men neglecting their homes with out providing and for them eating in restaurants, other men leave their wives and get married to other hardworking women and after they have taken away all they have harvested and their income capital they separate with them, Garuda said other men are too violent that when a woman is having a meal with her children then she hears him coming she and the children run off leaving the food and if this is done daily the children will not properly be fed leading to malnutrition. Mastulah said some men sell off all the food after the harvest season leaving little or no food to take them through the next season. With so many reasons discussed the men also said women eat the food from the kitchens and bring less to the serving tables especially if there is a nice meal provided. Yusuf also said the women are not polite when asking and therefore discourage them from providing. With different reasons the members decided hat next time we meet we shall talk about the solutions to poor feeding.
