- Abraham met twenty eight Kivule community members and the purpose was to discuss how they can start a saving scheme. As soon as they reached to the meeting place there was a chaos going on in one of the neighbors home and his children wanted to get shares of his land. The chaos took like two hours and we started the meeting.
The chairman Mr Christopher told the meeting that they have been thinking of starting a savings whereby they can have soft loans for the members.
Abraham thanked them of coming up with new ideas because he told them always to think about what they can do as a village together. He advised them to come up with regulations which will govern the loaning system before even they can save anything because if they do not have them it will be difficult for them to select who to give and some members may think they love others more and also to have books where they will keep records of their savings.
They said they are going to discuss some by-laws which will govern their savings and also they said they are going to have saving books for records. They will visit other groups who are saving to learn more how they will save.
