- Notes
- Suzan went back to Bupeni village to follow up on the maintenance of the healthy and safe kitchens facilities and the construction of the high risen firewood storages in each home.
When she got there, she went to the group chairperson’s home and found other leaders all sitting under a tree near his home. They were so glad to see her that day, and after exchanging greetings and discussing about some program activities, they didn’t waste much time and immediately started visiting each member’s home while monitoring their facilities.
During the whole process, some were found busy putting up the firewood storages in their kitchens and repairing their buildings such as roofing and smearing them, while Others had already put up new dish racks, dug up new rubbish pits which was so encouraging.
The chairperson reported that they had arranged materials to build kitchens and other facilities for the elderly vulnerable persons once they got some free time out of their garden work. Suzan thanked all the members for taking effort to improve on their facilities and encouraged them to continue maintaining their general hygiene and sanitation which would enable them live a better healthy life with their families. The members appreciated Suzan’s advice promising to do so and the meeting came to and end wishing each other a happy stay.
