Notes
The meeting began with prayer and the after the vice chairperson Mr.Bulaimu said that they had finalised with correcting their draft constitution and they are ready to make a final copy.He also said the group has thought of planting onions as a group. They have started contributing sh.2000 for that project. This was an assignment that was given to them as a project they can do as a group. This however means that, they need to look for land for their project. Alex B advised them to contribute money for the seeds of the onions but also think of how to secure a piece of land for that project. He told them since it does not need a big piece of land, and that if there is one member who can volunteer land or at a small amount of money then it will work for the good of their group. He also asked them to think of other projects like growing groundnuts where each one contributes 1kg and that they plant as a group. He also advised them that the raising of money to the treasury may not be hard cash but also to give in things like crops that can be sold for money and to their treasury for the group. The members want to raise money so that they can begin to get loans from their treasury. The group will be in position to do other projects when they have a good number of assets and also hard cash on their account.Alex reminded them to attend all the meetings and also contribute in all ways to develop themselves and their group
