Notes
Harriet went to Ikumbya to follow up on the construction of firewood risen stands for firewood storage. This is because most people lack the firewood risen stands and Agee who have them they lack wood. In the previous meeting Harriet left those ones who were lacking them with an assignment of putting them in place. When she reached she started walking home to home monitoring progress, interestingly some people have started constructing them. Also participants told Harriet the men who did not the value of firewood risen stands for firewood they have now embraced it after being sensitized on their use. Also most people were found cooking on their stoves on daily basis and have started smearing their home facilities. Batwawula Poul told Harriet that they were able to meet , discussed and agreed on how much Ikumbya secondary school should pay for a stove. They also agreed to send 20people on behalf of the group to build the stove for the school and this group will be led by 5 men that is Sulai, Batwawula, Balidawa and Ntalo among others. They said that they decided to have this number of men because the stove for the entire school will be big thus requires a lot of labour that the entire will be able to provide. Harriet encouraged them to keep on marketing their skill of building stoves in order for people to know about them and give them business. They thanked kibo for the ample time and advise they always give them that has always helped them to work and solve community and individual challenges they always come across.
