Alex B met fifty community members about mvule community development program. It was the values and benefits of trees in the community.He found some of the community members seated under the mango tree where they have village meetings.The chairperson Lc1 David was among those ready for the meeting. We had together prayer that was led by Paul one of the community members. Alex B asked the community the values and the use of trees in their homes and community. He was after knowing if they are to close or benefit from trees.Mrs Otim said that trees are used for cooking food and building kitchens. She also added that they get food out of them like orange and mangoes. Other members mentioned that trees are for climate change as makes impact since places with high trees receive rain.It acts as wind breaker and save plants and houses from being destroyed by strong wind. Locally some types of trees are herbs to animal and human life. Alex B told them that trees are for commercial like mvule and musizi. They can be used for construction like houses and bridges. Good shades can be provided by trees,as they seat under them some have fruits for them to eat.Some trees their leaves are eaten by animals. He gave example of the leaves of mvule that dry dry season,cows can be fed on them. He told them that since some trees bear fruits for them to eat. Timber can be sold for money and one meet other bills like school fees and medical. They can act as boundaries between two different families or people. Trees are also source of income in families and communities. Alex B agreed next meeting to discuss about the spices of trees in that community and how they are meant to be benefited.

2020-02-19 - Purpose: To discuss with members the Spices of tress in the community. Also why such trees do better and other are not planted there.The trees for commercial and others for what purpose.
