Jeska found when some participants have started gathered at the meeting place. As soon as she reached some other participants also arrived.
She asked the community identify a home where a demonstration exercise of smearing where it should be done. This is because she has taught them theoretically how to smear their home facilities but they seem to be slow or some times concentrating on only stoves and leaving the entire kitchen un smeared.
It was very interesting for the community to agree and decide on a home that she can demonstrate as they see. She asked them also to participate because practice makes perfect.
Jeska led the community to collect the materials to be used for smearing like cow dung, dirt, water among others. They worked to get her and smeared one kitchen.
She asked the group to look at the complete smeared kitchen as an example to smear their. She also reminded them also to smear other facilities like shower areas and latrines.
She also reminded them about construction of firewood risen stand for firewood storage and asked the men to use strong poles when constructing these fire wood storages to avoid accidents that may arise from week firewood risen stands.
The participants promised to smear their facilities and construct the fire wood storages.
