Notes
Tape and Suzan went to Igerera B to follow up on the smearing of different buildings and be able to give advice where necessary. When they arrived there, they went to the meeting place and found some members already gathered with some of their leaders. They happily welcomed them and together settled down for a brief meeting. The chairperson opened the meeting with a prayer and then invited Kibo staff to take over. Suzan and Tape thanked the members for embracing the healthy and safe kitchens program, saying that it would greatly improve on their lives once they cooperated and agreed to work together as a team. Kibo staff encouraged each member to see that they smeared all their all their buildings and not just the kitchens because the entire home needed to look neat and healthy to leave in. Later on they got up and walked around some homes to check on the buildings which were smeared. Around 45 kitchens had been neatly smeared which was so encouraging to the Kibo staff. At the end of the day,the members went to one of the elderly women and smeared her kitchen and bathroom which were in a bad state. The members were so grateful for the smearing lessons saying it has United some of the members who were in conflicts before. Kibo staff thanked everyone for participating in the smearing activity that day and the meeting came to an end.
