Notes
Abraham met twenty eight Sinde community members and the purpose was to discuss about the ideas they got from other groups that gives soft loans to their members so that they can learn from them. The group that went to get those idea said that they went to Namayingo town and checked with a micro finance group and they told them to know the people they targeting to give the loan their income, if they fail to pay back the loan what they will do, keeping records so that both sides the borrowers and the ladders to have records so that if one misses something can consult from the other that is to say if the borrower claims he or she has finished paying the loan they can cross check in both records of the borrower and the ladder. Abraham encouraged the meeting to have two books for records is good because what makes groups to separate is when the members are not sure where they are saving, sometimes it may be a small thing like one forgetting to add a zero and becomes a big issue. Someone may miss a zero to make 100000 and it becomes 100000 but if they have records the one who is saving and the one receiving money it becomes easy to track down. He advised them to make sure members get the money which will be easy for them to bring back because someone may take money and getting it back is a problem. The members said that they have to contribute some money so that they can get those books before the next meeting
