Notes: Alex and Chris met with the community members to guide the village as they enact their new bylaws for the new borehole in Kisiro drilled by kibo group. The village together came up with 10 bylaws that everyone will have to follow in order to take good care of their well. The wall fence still has more work needed to plaster the outside part of the wall and it takes everyone in the community to work together and maintain their borehole. The village members that turned up for the meeting were very happy that the new borehole will be taken good care of now that the rules and regulations are in place. Alex told the village that if they fail to take good care of this new well then Kibo group still has the mandate to lock this borehole until all that is required is met. Kibo group will keep in touch with the village to follow up on the water, sanitation and hygiene program activities in Kisiro. The village was ready to start using their well as they make plans to have a day very soon to commission their new well. The village leaders remain very happy to kibo group for this support given to Kisiro and now that many of the people that were walking long distances and going to the swamp for water.
