Notes
Martin went to Kagulu village to check on sanitation and hygiene improvement from the section of the trading centre up to lgerera road. He walked around that section with the Chairman LC1 and VHT. The community members in that section are working hard on their latrine constructions, digging new pit latrines, shower areas and other sanitation facilities. They saw two new latrines done, others are still digging. Martin was encouraging the community to maintain their facilities for those who are having them as well as encouraging them to smear. Martin also saw one new pit latrine 30ft deep done remaining to construct. Martin was happy to hear from the old men saying that kibo is doing a good job in Kagulu as village. He was also encouraging the community members about the use of ash in their latrines to chase flies and reduce smell. Martin walked in 36 homes
