Martin went to Ibaako, he walked around with the Chairman LC1, VHTS and the parish chief. Their intention was to check on the facility construction in that village. Good enough the community members are busy digging and constructing them and working on other facilities like rubbish pits, kitchens and shower areas. In the 38homes, the group walked in, 8homes have worked hard on their sanitation facilities like Alisi Batesa, dug the rubbish pit and she constructed the shower facility their all working, Patrick Kamwezi , putting logs on his new pit latrine, Ayisa Mugoya, their grandson are digging the new pit latrine it’s now 15ft deep and they are continuing to make it 30ft deeper, Ronald Kinatama, dug a new pit 25ft deep, it’s under construction, Sarah Busene, she is a single mother, she sacrificed to correct the money, and she hired someone he dug for her a new pit latrine, it’s already constructed 2rooms and it’s roofed, Ayisa Nampina, an old woman, she is a widow, she sacrificed to correct the money, they dug for her a new pit latrine 25ft deep, she constructed it, it’s roofed and it’s now working and Nakisha Amina, constructed a new dish rack it’s working which is so good. Generally the community members are willing to work on their sanitation facilities, because when you work around that village there are many new sanitation facilities like latrines, rubbish pits, kitchens and shower areas. Even if they still behind on the side of dish rack facilities. But they promised the group to on their new dish racks in few days.
The group was encouraging the residents to work so on their sanitation facilities, so that they can do other things like planning for the food, to help their families. And the community members are also willing to work on their sanitation to change their village. As kibo is continuing to work with that village, the group walked in 38homes.
