- Alex B met thirty eight members of Bupaluka about how to operate from saving to loaning scheme.It was how they will begin with small saving until they will have some to start loan for themselves.
The chairperson of the group Saul said that already the group has now group bank account. He told them as some of the money that was got from the sales of garden project,was used to process the account.He asked them to respond when they are required to go and prepare the land for the next planting season.
Alex B thanked them for planning about the next planting season. He advised them to always to make saving that will help them fund the group projects. He told them much as the they plan for general business,they is need for personal or family needs.The issue of saving could lead them to loaning. From small saving can can accumulate to a bigger money for members to get loans. The interest will be small and affordable by the m to be paid.The group will be in position to facilitate more project since they will money on their account. He told them that,it will help them to build confidence among themselves. Unity in the group will keep on growing as they continue meeting to discuss issues about their group.
Peter one of the members suggested that members should save more money personally and contribute to the general pool of the group. He said that will help them to develop individuals as they do personal business. The general contributions will help the group to operate projects that will boost the loaning scheme.
Alex B in the next meeting will discuss with them about how to manage their books of account of saving and loaning scheme.
