- Notes
- Suzan went to the upper side of the village to follow up on the construction of the high risen firewood storages, stove usage and the smearing of the buildings. When she got there, she met some members at the chairperson’s home sitting and discussing about the challenges still faced in their village.
Suzan was warmly welcomed to the village and after settling down, one of the leaders informed Suzan how most members had taken their children for immunization which was taking place at the village healthy center.
The chairperson reported about some activities which were going on so far such as smearing of the buildings, building stoves at the neighboring villages and for those who didn’t have kitchens before. He suggested they walk around the village and check on a few facilities for those who stayed back at home.
While walking around, Suzan came across some members who were busy smearing their kitchens and stoves and had also built the firewood storages in their kitchens. About 12 homes were monitored that day because most members had closed their kitchens and it wasn’t proper to just enter their homes without their permission.
Suzan requested the leaders to always follow up on the members and encourage them to improve on their facilities and smear all their buildings. She thanked them for taking their time in the activity that day and together they agreed on the next date that the meeting would take place, and the meeting came to an end.
