Notes
Tom went back to kishaike village to check on sanitation and hygiene improvements as well as improvements in hand washing. When Tom arrived, he was welcomed by two committee members and together they moved to the lower section. In the first home they visited they found when the resident had just finished his new Latrine. Tom and the committee members advised the resident on how to improve on the latrine by roofing it and improving on the veranda. The resident accepted the advise of the committee members members and said that he will be improving on it. From there they went to a home of the vht from the lower section and found that he had also started on the construction of the latrine structure. Tom and the committee members advised the resident to use better bricks and also make sure that he roofs the latrine. In another home they encouraged an elderly man to work with his son to improve on his Latrine as the other one has filled up. In every home, Tom was advising the residents on the construction of hand washing stands and some were promising to start on them. They all appreciated the fact that kibo is back in the community encouraging them and advising them.
