Notes
Irene visited Namutumba district to discuss with the district Health Officer about the community health Education Program, how it operates in the villages, and discuss how it can be of grate help during this COVID 19 pandemic. Irene met with the district health inspector since the District Health Officer was caught up in a meeting elsewhere. In their discussion the DHI requested Irene to switch lessons and teach communities on how to not only protect themselves against COVID19 but also against other sexually transmitted diseases and early pregnancies because there so many young girls who have gotten pregnant during this pandemic period and also encourage communities to take their children for immunization. With all that was discussed the Health Inspector encouraged Irene to go ahead with her lessons while following the guidelines and give a report to the health officials from the villages. The health inspector also requested to have a copy of the lesson plan so as to clarify or have some additions Incase there is any.
