Notes
David and Steven were in ndalike village. And their intentions of going there was to meet with the village leaders about the way forward about the WASH program in the village. On their way before reaching the village they also passed Namwendwa sub county and signed in the visitors book. They did so because it was the rightful procedure for everyone before reaching out that village during this covid 19. At Namwendwa sub county they met with the parish chief and the healthy inspector. They signed out and even reasoned out as to why they were visiting the village. Instead the parish chief and the healthy inspector gave them ago ahead because they said it was so important and it would give a-good hand towards the control of the spread of the covid 19 and other diseases . After that they the kibo staff headed to the village. In the village they found when eight of the village leader were waiting for them . They greeted each other since it was along while since they had stayed away from each other. However the meeting started by David asking the members to give a brief report about how they had progressed during the covid 19 period. In Un fortunately mr Tatya kalori started with the bad news of some four kids during the covid 19 in the village who had died as a result of over urinating blood . However because of the off and on death results due to overbreeding of the blood in the village, David reacted by advising the village leader to report the severe case to the sub county health officials. They loved the idea and therefore they said they will be reporting it to the district health inspector. Mr Mugote Stephen continued and said that even though they had the four death cases of the four kids over urinating blood, they had never registered any covid 19 case in their village.David responded by confirming to the members that the covid disease was there and it even kills that is if every one does-not protect himself from the spread of it. The other member to report was just thanking the kibo for having taught them about the hand washing practice before the intervention of the covid 19 . After the brief report from the village leaders David distributed the handouts papers which had some of the measures followed in order one to protect himself from the spread of the covid 19. One member by the names Kisame James who is a teacher was reading and David was translating before the other village leaders. They clapped for David and kisame James and also thanked the kibo for that continuous heart of loving them. According to the Kibo’s point of view, the village was at a standstill as far as the Sanitation improvements work was concerned. Because David and Steven only saw two of the finished pits one from Melidah mukyala and the other one from kisame Fred. They ended the meeting when they had agreed that only two of the village leaders were to divide up during the home to home movements as away of maintaining the required social distancing as one of preventive measure from the spread of covid 19 .
