Notes
The meeting began with prayer that was led by Miss.Ida. After the prayer, the vice chairperson of the Group Mr. Bulaimu thanked the members for turning up for the meeting and reminded them that they are working hard as leaders to secure the certificate for their group. The Lc I Mr.segonga Badru asked the members to always attend all the meetings for the betterment of their group. The leader of the group Mrs. Segonga Margret said that when they had a meeting without kibo group about growing onions and groundnuts. They agreed that each one should contribute money for 2 kgs of groundnuts and 1 kg of onions. She also said they have secured one acre for the groundnuts and enough for the onions, she also said with the onions they are not familiar with it. Alex B asked them, of the two to decide on one cash crop to grow that will make them more money. He advised them on the issue of the rain season not to be late and to contribute money for the groundnuts .He also told them to bear in mind that they will have to spray the crops and collectively they will need to attend their garden like weeding, planting and spraying. Alex B told them to account all the money they are to invest in the garden until they harvest it. Alex B reminded them about unity how it can help them as a group to develop right from their families,Group and the community. Working together will help each to learn from one another as well as share ideas about how to care for their gardens.About the project of the onions, Alex advised them to think about the resources they have around if it will be enough for both the groundnuts and onions. For example drugs for spraying.
