Notes
Tom made a visit to kishaike village to check on facility constructions and encourage residents about sanitation and hygiene improvements. He also encouraged residents about the improvement in hand washing. When he arrived in the village, he was welcomed by the Sanitation and hygiene committee members who took him around the village. They moved on the upper section of the village checking on facility constructions and improvements. They checked on latrines and hand washing stand. In one home they found a new home where they have constructed a new latrine. Tom encouraged them to roof the latrine in order to make it stronger and more durable. They also found another home were they had recently dug a new latrine. They had just put on the mud floor and were planning on constructing on the structure. Tom encouraged the resident to construct the structure on good standard so that it can last longer. In every home, Tom was also encouraging residents to construct and have hand washing stations in their homes so that they can maintain hand washing as they fight the spread of diseases. The committee members also said they will continue sensitizing residents on sanitation and hygiene improvements
