Alex B met seven members of the group about the way forward during COVID-19 period.The Lc1 of the village mr. Kawanguzi attended the meeting though is also a member. The meeting was chaired by the group leader Fidah. She welcomed every one and gave her remarks. She said since the government burned the gathering,they had never had group meetings. The was in preparation to do Group garden project before COVID-19She also asked if it was good to have a meeting.? In response,the Lc1 said since social distance was being observed,the meeting was allowed to commence. It was only the chairperson of the group that had a mask but the rest didn’t have them but social distance was observed. Alex B told them that kibo group went to the district and was cleared to work with the community. I told them to observe the guidelines that was given by the ministry of health. I told them to choose or decided how they can meet in small groups. It will help them to discuss issues that will help the group make development. The leaders were advised to form small groups depending the location of the members. The number in every meeting not to exceed ten people. The chairperson also to inform those small groups to observe the guidelines that was given by ministry of health.I advised them that in small group minutes should be put down that can discuss by the main committee. It gives everyone to participate as the vies are tabled to the main organ to the leaders. The small groups will involve in decision making. I advised them to do group projects. My next visit, I will meet some of those small group from the main group and discuss with them good and challenges that across.
