- There is a great improvement in the sanitation of homes in the trading center unlike before when only two homes had proper latrines in the whole trading centre of this community. They are maintaining the facilities, smearing, constructing using cement and sand, making concrete slabs for latrines, as well as using vent pipes on some latrines. Enock and Martin encouraged the residents to construct good standard facilities which will last them longer and spare time doing other productive actives to improve on the economy of their homes, Unlike constructing facilities which may break in a short period of time thus wastage of resources and energy to repeat the same thing over and over again. They also walked in the upper section to also check on the progress of latrine construction, dish racks, shower areas, soak pits, hand washing facilities, kitchen areas, clean compounds, rubbish pits e.t.c. The people who already have nice latrines, Enock and Martin encouraged the ladies and children to smear the structures and teach the importance of using Ash in the latrines as was demonstrated to them how it’s used. There are five homes which were found busy digging new latrines since the old ones are already full and some didn’t have latrines. Most of the residents who don’t have latrines are busy using hoes as they wait for their neighbors to finish using the pick axes so that they can speed up the digging of new pits. Some residents were met busy in the pits digging new latrines. Kibo staff were impressed to see that the lady who was so stubborn and didn’t have a latrine, Enock and Martin met the husband for the first time and he had paid someone to dig a 15 deep pit latrine hole. At the moment the pit is 10ft deep and he is working to complete it after one week. In addition, kibo staff also encouraged the water user committee in this village to construct a fence around the borehole. This was because there was no borehole fence around it.

- All the pick Axes are so busy doing the work of digging pit latrines,rubbish pits. Some people who heard that Kibo staff broke latrines which were almost filled up, are super busy digging new latrines .
