Notes
David and Steven were in Ndhalike village. And their intentions of going there was to continue encouraging the village members to construct standardized hand washing stations as well as the improvements on the rest of the other sanitation facilities. When the kibo staff reaching the village they not okay because of the case of the one of the kids who was bit by the mad dog. Unfortunately the family members of the boy were all confused. They didn’t know what was be next. Therefore David encouraged family to take the boy to Namwendwa healthy centre four. When they reached the closest healthy their was no vaccine for rabies . So through the phone David advised them to village the district referral hospital. Fortunately it’s where they met the vetenary doctor. He analyzed the dog bit case and treated the boy by vaccinating him with the rabies vaccine. He also advised the two people who had moved with the sick boy that they were to take her back for further check ups after seven days. As David and Steven were living the affected family, the family members thanked the kibo staff for their time and the good wards of a advise . Later after the lengthy follow ups by the kibo staff through the phone of the sick boy the kibo staff went to the meeting place . They met few of the members at where they were supposed to be meeting from. Reason was that the village had divided up because some of the members were at the family which was affected and the other people were tracing for the dog because they wanted to kill it . Therefore David and Steven only moved with the village chairman mr Tatyaise and kalori in the different homes. From the kibo,s home to home movements they were so encouraged with mr Kilize be a he had improved on his old latrine after the old one which was down due to the rains. For that matter David advised the wife of kilize later to talk to his hasband so that they would finish the construction in time . Towards the end of David and Steven,s home to home movements they had that the boy was discharged from kamuli hospital and they were in their home . Because of that the kibo by passed that home felt sorry together with them and advised them not to fail going back as they were told by the doctor . In general according to David and Steven,s point of view, the village is again reviving towards sanitation and the kibo hopes to see more good results in two weeks from now.
