Notes
David and Steven were in Ndhalike village. Their intentions of going there was to continue encouraging about the construction of the hand washing stations as well as the improvements on the rest of the other sanitation facilities. As they were in the village they first visited the home of the boy by the names of Julius who was bit by the wild dog . Because they wanted to check on how he was doing. Fortunately the mother of Julius told the kibo staff that Julius was getting better though Julius,s father had taken him back to the hospital for a review as they were prescribed by the veterinary doctor. After that David along with Steven and kalori Tatya one of the most active leader on the committee he led them in the many homes where the village had finished the construction of the hand washing station. However they had constructed but some of them were not strategically located for the easy usage. Therefore David and Steven kept on encouraging the owners of the hand washing stations to construct them close by the latrine pit for easy accessibility . As they kept on moving home to home more encouragements and improvements were illustrated rather emphasized by the kibo staff for the better standardization. Because originally the village and the kibo,s target was to aim at the four facilities which were not yet improved upon in all the homes which had the much need for improvements . Also importantly the kibo staff Kept on encouraging everyone to have two hand washing stations for example the front one at the entrance of the home thus for the people entering a specific home and the other one close by the pit latrine for washing hands after using the latrine. Towards the end of the kibo,s home to home movements they were so much encouraged with one Muganza Edward who used to be the most stubbornest member since then he had just started constructing a shelter on his new pit . Even the construction was under progress . Muganza Edward thanked the kibo so much for their continuous greater sanitation encouragements because his home was to have a well constructed brick wall pit latrine. He continued and promised that he was to roof it using iron sheets for his latrine future sustainability . David and Steven ended their day with a plan for the next visit which was to move in the section where they had not reached out with their encouragements . In general according to David,s overview the village was working hard to improve on on the remaining facilities in order to meet the rightful standards .
