Notes
Harriet went to this village following up the food poisoning case that happened in this village. She went to study the situation so that she can see how to go about it to avoid community conflicts as well as reconcile this village. Harriet found out that some people from this village bought poisoned milk from the trading center and they became sick. They were taken by a referral ambulance to Iganga hospital where there were treated and got better. This affected over 45 people five from Butamoga and others from other different villages. Among the people who took the milk two were the milk sellers wife and daughter. The community realized that it was not the sellers intention to poison the milk because his family members wouldn't have been affected. People in Butamoga reacted to this situation by rushing the affected people to the hospital other than revenging. They also told Harriet that the lesson about the tongue that Ida taught them helped them to go through it because they sieved their words and thoughts before taking any reactions to the man who sold the milk to them. They also told Harriet that, they later realized that the milk was poisoned by the milk sellers neighbor from Nangonde trading center who ran a way from the village after the incident. Also the borehole fence has been maintained, stoves used on daily basis, sanitation facilities have been maintained . One home took poultry lessons serious rared chickens and was able to buy three goats out of the chickens.r
