- Notes
- Ida went to Maliga to teach about Prayer and also introduced a poultry lesson to the community.
She asked if there was anybody who knew what prayer is. All of the members present rose their hands admitting that they knew what prayer is.
Kasinga said that it’s the way we communicate to God. Almost everyone agreed with Kasinga. Ida asked the community how many times they communicate to their friends, wives, parents and children. Fida said that every time, they don’t take long because when you don’t communicate that means you’re not friends or you don’t know each other.
Ida gave an example of Jesus praying and also took time to teach his disciples how to pray. This act showed how important prayer is.
So parents must teach their children how to pray and also be living examples to their them. If a parent doesn’t pray, there is no way a child will pray.
Hamidu the Muslim Imam emphasized how swallah(Prayer) is important.
Ida taught them a song about Prayer and that was the memory verse of the day.
She then introduced the poultry lesson and encouraged members to write down notes because this topic will need serious members to take notes.
Ida told them the basics about poultry and asked each one to come next week with an answer to the question below: This is their home work.
What is chicken?
