- Abraham met six Ikumbya community leaders and the purpose was to discuss how they will continue sharing ideas with this Coronavirus government regulation of social distancing. The chairperson Mss Nabirye told the meeting that since the lockdown started they have not been sharing ideas and some people thought that Kibo will not come back to their village. She said that they sat down as leaders and decide to sell all the chickens because they realized that they will not be able to get their feeds during Coronavirus period. All of the leaders so that as a good advice and they sold the chickens and the money they gave to the treasurer to keep it until things will normalize. Mr Mutebe said that they have many things to discuss but they have been not knowing how they can do it. Abraham thanked the leaders for showing interest in continuing with the program, he advised them to make small groups so that they may maintain social distancing because they do not want to leave anyone behind. They can discuss in small groups and then the leaders can come together and share those ideas so that they can come up with the solution or what to do next. The leaders were so happy with the idea and they promised to make small groups according to their group not exceeding ten people as per government guidelines. They are thinking of resuming the idea of opening group account because now they have money they collected for the bore hole in case it breaks down and it is kept in the treasurer’s house.
