Notes
Irene went to kagulu to teach the pregnant women about child preparedness plan and to get the malnourished baby to hospital for proper care and treatment. Irene was not able to teach because of the rain since they always sit under a tree for there lessons but she was able to get the boy and the grand mother to the hospital. On reaching the village Irene visited the authorities that is the LC 1 chairman for a letter to allow her take the boy and the grand mother to the hospital which was given and then she also asked the husband to the grandmother of the boy to also allow her go with their grand son to hospital and he gladly said it was ok. Irene reached the hospital a little late from the time the hospitals staff expected her because of the road construction going on but they helped and offered he the service, the baby was admitted, some blood tests done, x-ray to rule out any infection of the lungs and other tests. The Kibo director and the staff willingly offered money to take care of the bills and other essentials that the child and the grandmother need when in the hospital.
