Notes
The meeting began with prayer and the Lc1 gave a welcome remark to all the members who came for the meeting. The chairperson of the group asked the members about the chickens that was given to them how they are doing and cautioned them to look after them so that they can multiply and they can benefit out of that project.
Alex B told the members that since they are each going to receive a she goat, they should have a house where they are going to keep those goats. He told them that when they receive them, treating them will be their responsibility.
He asked the members about the people among them who are going to buy those goats . He reminded them to choose members whom they know have a good report and are faithful to the group. The exercise was done and the five were selected. The Lc1 is one of those that are going to buy the goats.
The CDO of Ivukula sub-county mr.Kairu Nicolas was to teach the members about the government programs but when Alex called him, he said that he was caught up by the council meeting .He told Alex on phone that he will make another arrangement with him. The issue was as the members are about to get the goats, Alex felt it better for him to talk to them and also to benefit out of the goat project.
