Suzan went to the village to carry out the last evaluation process. When she got there, she was welcomed by some program leaders who were already at the meeting place.
Without wasting much time they set off to the remaining part of the village and began visiting home to home.
Each home that was visited was found cooking on their stoves with the elderly children helping their parents. Suzan kept on asking the women any challenges they faced while cooking on their stoves together with the benefits, and most women replied saying how they felt so happy whenever they were cooking on their stoves.
They said that they no longer suffered from smoke inhalation and used less firewood to cook on their stoves. A few needed to smear their stoves because they had big cracks although they were found cooking on them. Also some facilities needed to be repaired and smeared such as the kitchens, latrines and shower areas.
Suzan requested some members to also construct new dish racks and high raised firewood storages in their kitchens so as to save firewood for the future and in times of scarcity. At the end of the day, 9 homes were evaluated and the members thanked Suzan for the advice given, promising to do so as soon as possible.
