- Martin kibuuka, chris and Diana went to Ibaako village to continue with following up on the construction of hand washing stands, they were able to visit 48 home and out of that 35 homes were able to build the hand washing stands. Martin encouraged those whose did not have stands to approach those whose how to build for help. Mrs Mariam who had all the facilities thanked the Wash team for persuading her husband to build the toilet, she said they did not have any sanitation facility at home until one day the district health officials found her at home and arrested her for not having a toilet at home however she requested the police to release her and arrest her husband as soon as she called him to come to police. Indeed she called her husband and as soon as he arrived,he was arrested and his wife was released. Her husband was then fine fifty thousand shillings and ordered to build a toilet at home. Martin will be going back to Ibaako to continue following up with the construction of the hand washing stands.
