- Notes
- Abraham met twenty eight Igerera A community members and they discussed what they can do together which can keep them working together. The chairman Mr Tom told members that since Kibo came to their village it is now easy to collect money to repair the bore hole but before it was a struggle for some to understand that the bore is theirs. They even started a saving scheme that every one has to save one thousand shillings every month and they hope to get one million shillings and they will give some members a soft loan so that they can bring back with low interest.
They came up with an idea to keep some goats at the chairmans place because he already has a shelter with a roof on but no wall.
Abraham advised them to start thinking of how much each will be paying to put the walls on the shelter and also how they will be working because group things are tricky. Abraham suggested that may be they should get one member to be responsible for the goats and then the whole group can help. They said in the next meeting they will come up with the ideas and also how much each will pay to put walls around the goats shelter.
