Martin went to Igerera A, he walked around the upper section of the village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Their intention was to check on the improvement of the new hand washing stands, as well as demonstrating the new model of dish racks. Good enough the big number of homes have worked on their new hand washing stands and their working. Others have worked on them, but they have not yet plastered them, but they are in process of plastering them. And in other homes they are busy constructing them, because they have seen those homes who have worked on them, so they have seen the value of those hand washing stands. The village leaders, sanitation committee members and the community members, are just appreciating kibo for work of hand washing stands going on in their homes as well as their village. Because what makes them too be happy, is that before Covid 19, kibo taught them about hand washing. So when the government announced about washing hands to prevent Covid 19, it was easy for them to do, because kibo had already taught them about washing their hands after visiting the their latrines. To prevent some diseases like malaria, diarrhea and typhoid, which can cause death, mostly on Children. On the side dish racks, some homes have worked on them, but their was not on a good standards. So Martin and group was promoting to those who have not yet constructed their new dish racks, the new model of dish racks. According to their hard working, they are willing to work on them. And kibo is still working in that community as well as the village, the group walked in 32homes.
