Notes
Abraham and Kambale met twelve Kazimbakujira community leaders and members, the purpose of the visit was to check some members holes they dug for planting Mvule trees and also to check their bore hole which is broken but they do not know which part. They first visited Iwemba sub county to meet government officials because they couldn’t open the bore hole without government knocking. They found the LC111 chairman who works as CDO of the sub county and the sub county chief. Abraham and Kambale told them about Kibo working in Kazimbakujira village and the chief told them that he went one time with one Kibo member to Kazimbakujira to carry out hygiene and sanitation but he said Kibo disappeared. Abraham and Kambale told them that Kibo has more program and when it failed to get water in two sites that is why they are back with planting of Mvule trees. They told them that when they came to start the program that is when they realized that all bore holes in Kazimbakujira are broken. They would like to repair the bore hole at the school because it has much water. They received the certificate and the memorandum of understanding Kibo is working with Bugiri district to renew them. The government officials were exited and they told them that they have many broken bore holes in the sub county and the district has been promising to work on them in vain. They went and met the sub county bore hole mechanic and they proceeded to the village where they met some members and they told them that they are going to open the bore hole to see what is broken but Kibo pays 70% and they contribute 30% as a village. They checked some holes the members dug and found a guy with a tractor tires made from wood. The guy told them that he was suffering with sharp things which used to pierce the tires when he was tilling the land and that is why he came up with the idea of wooden tires. They are going to finish putting manure because the village is so big, they made a list of two hundred and sixty members and Abraham will be finishing checking the holes because the village is spread out.
