Notes
Suzan went to the village to guide the members as they build the fuel efficient stoves on their own as well as follow up on the smearing of the buildings and the stove usage. When she got there, she went straight to the home where the stove was going to be built and found the members almost on the last stage of building the stove. They happily welcomed Suzan to the village and the chairperson informed Suzan how they had all agreed to wake up so early in the morning so that they finish up with all the activities and get ample time to listen to some political leaders who were visiting the village that same day in the evening. The members had placed the stove at the right wind direction and also the stems were fixed in the right position although the measurements between the saucepans and the stove was a bit poor. Suzan went in the kitchen and showed the members how to always take the right measurements using either both hands or one so as to create enough space between the saucepans and the stove. Later after, Suzan walked around the village with some members and visited a few homes especially those who had not yet smeared their houses and stoves. She found some members when they had already smeared their kitchens and other buildings while some of them had not smeared their stoves which had cracks on them. Suzan requested the members to see that they smeared and roofed their kitchens so before receiving the stoves. The members thanked Suzan for the advice given and promised to improve on their sanitation and program facilities as soon as possible.
