Irene went to kagulu village to teach about chicken pox as one of the childhood illnesses, she was invited by the VHt as she continued to worn the members on the use of face masks and following the government’s guidelines for COVID 19.
Irene was then invited to take over the lesson, Irene welcomed the members and asked them to utilize the masks given by the government to avoid contracting the virus, she also encouraged the members without the masks to at least come with a simple cloth to cover their nose and mouth.
Following the previous lesson on measles,Irene requested the members to give the meaning of chicken pox.sam said it’s a disease caused by chicken, mastula said it’s like measles,Saudi said it’s when one gets swellings like boils with water in them.
On addition to that,Irene explained the meaning of chicken pox, giving the different signs and symptoms, people at risk, prevention which involved not sharing clothes with the person having chicken pox, and visiting the hospitals for proper diagnosis and treatment.
