Notes
Martin went to Kagulu village to check on the sanitation and hygiene improvement. He met a group of six people in the trading centre, he asked them about the work of kibo in the village. They were appreciative of the work going on, because they told him that it is now a season for green vegetables therefore they are eating those greens freely without fear, or cost because the village is now clean. He walked around that section with the Chairman LC1 and one VHT, but the big number of the community members have worked hard on their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions, dish racks, rubbish pits and shower facilities even though others are still working on their sanitation facilities. In that section Martin saw four people who have worked on their sanitation facilities without being encouraged to do so but did so on their own.for example mr Simon peter constructed a strong and nice kitchen, Magidu Hamba constructed a strong shower area with cement, Bazila Busungu who was constructing a new latrine with bricks and cement and Sylvia who also constructed a strong dish rack even if her husband wasn’t around. In addition to that the wife of Musumba Antonio decided to divorce her husband and went back to her parents because her husband had refused to dig a pit latrine in their home .Martin and the group walked in 30 homes but they were able to see some good progress though some facilities in those home needs improvement and standardisation.

Village Notes
In the nearby village there was a woman who died, but the doctor refused their relatives to touch on the dead body, because they believe its a deadly disease. Another woman known wife to Mr Musumba Antonia divorced her husband because he did not construct her a latrine. He was so desperate as he was asking around who could help him construct a latrine.
