Kibo staff was in Busene village to continue guiding participants as they build stoves on their own. The community had identified three participants for the stoves and had already stamped the dirt for two stoves and were stamping the dirt for the third stove. Kibo staff divided the community into two groups whereby each staff joined one group. They guided them as they built the first two stoves. Later own they tasked the community to build the third stove on their own as Kibo staff was watching.
Unfortunately the community could not do it well because they forgot to but the banana stems between the two cooking pots this would affect the effectiveness of the stove because fire is blocked from flowing from the big pot to the small pot and smoke will be contained in the kitchen. Kibo staff thanked them for having tried, corrected their mistakes and asked them to always look at the complete stoves for guidance and also to keep on practicing because practice makes perfect.
The community thanked Kibo for being patient with them despite the mistakes they have always made.
