Notes
David and Steven were in the village to update the names which were reflected to be having the cases of open deification during the second evaluation as well as encouraging the homes whose facilities were not up to the standards. They moved in meere’s home, who is a widow whom they found while her latrine pit was only left to put a-slab on it.David encouraged mere to work hard and construct a good and strong slab on top of his latrine pit. David and Steven also moved to Hajirah Nabirye’s . They found when he had finished her latrine construction. The Kibo staff appreciation her so much and encouraged him to smear his latrine . They also moved in nalwokya’s home . David was so encouraged because he found him when he had completed his latrine construction . They advised Nalwokya to include a door on his latrine for his personal privacy. He told the Kibo staff that in one week’s time he will have completed putting a door on his latrine pit. Out of the quiet a good number of the many homes the Kibo staff visited, they saw a lot of latrines which were affected by the heavy rains. However they kept on encouraging the owners to improve and reconstruct better standardized latrines. In general according to the hygiene and sanitation status of the entire village was not good because of the recent heavy rains which caused the majority of the latrines to fall down.
