Ws Notes
David and Steven were in the village .And their intentions of going there was to monitor and check the borehole status as well as the sanitation of the entire village. As the Kibo staff were in the village they were joined by the two borehole chairmen’s from the two village sections A and B mr Mohamed Gasemba and mr Kige . The two village chairmen’s led David and Steven into the different homes which had the great need for improvements on their showers. The different showers were destroyed by the on and off continuous rains. Therefore David ,Steven and the two chairmen moved in about 94 homes while encouraging everyone to improve their showers. They noted that many of the community members appreciated the Kibo staff by thanking them not to have forgotten them . They continued and said that thanks so much for the heart of continuous encouragements . The Kibo staff were more happier with the different homes which had maintained required sanitation standards. The Kibo staff noted that the majority of the homes in the village had maintained the required sanitation standards. They therefore encouraged them to always keeping the required standards. Later after all that the Kibo staff were also led to the two boreholes by the two chairmans .However David and Steven were so impressed with the way how the village had taken the good care for the two boreholes. They were encouraged also to hold a meeting some time . So that they would bring everyone on board as far as the full borehole ownership and care was concerned. The village chairmen also told David that the borehole in A had 140000 shillings and the borehole in B had 240000shillings. The two chairmen’s were also encouraged by David and Steven to continue contributing money towards their borehole accounts . In general according to the hygiene and sanitation status of the entire village was good . Except for the few homes which had some need for improvements due to the much rains. Because of time the Kibo staff left the village for jinja.
