Notes
In Kisiro village two things were happening on the same day, pump testing and casting of the successful drilled water point. At the same time drilling of the second water point in the village was happening. During the pump testing process, it was observed that the static water level was at 5.58M and 7.04M dynamic water level after 3 hours of blowing. It only moved 1.46M which showed a great recovery. Water recovery process was done and after 30minutes, 93% of water had recovered. The next step of plat form casting was then taken up after the water had cleared very well and considered successful. The drilling in the second water point had failed because no water was got and it was a dry hole after drilling 65M but no sign of water. Unfortunately the rig got stuck in the mud and could not come out at all. The village people did help out so much to dig it out but all in vain. It was such a big disappointment to both the village that no water was got and the drilling company used a lot of diesel and got no water. They were left trying out to dig out the rig from the sand and also casting process of the new well.
