Notes
Martin went to Igerera A, he walked around that village with the Chairman and the sanitation committee members. Their intention was to check on facility constructions and guiding them about the standards and maintenance. Good enough even if it’s raining too much, but their struggling to work hard on their sanitation facilities like digging the new pit latrines, dish racks and others are constructing their kitchens. For those who are have worked on their home facilities, they are appreciating kibo staff for them. And the village leaders told Martin that they are willing to encourage the residents to work hard on their sanitation facilities. Generally the community members in that village are willing to work with kibo, because their some community members have visited Igerera B, and they have seen the value of those homes facilities. They told the group that, their going in Christmas days, so they are going to be free to work on their home facilities. And kibo staff promised the residents that, even if their going in Christmas days, but their hearts are still with them and their village. Next year kibo decided to encourage the residents about smearing and the use of ash and smell in their homes to eliminate flies and mosquitoes which always cause diseases like malaria, diarrhea and typhoid. These diseases are be stubs young children, and those diseases make someone to become poor. The group walked in 38homes.
