Notes
As David and Steven were in the village they first met with Namukasa who is one of the most active members in the village. She led the Kibo staff into many different homes. Out of the many homes they visited they were so much encouraged with the greater improvements which were in the many homes. They saw a lot of new dish racks and new latrine pits which were constructed . However David and Steven kept on encouraging the owners of the new pits to work hard by constructing shelters around the finished dug pits to avoid them from getting damaged by the next coming rains. They also kept on encouraging the homes which were still lagging behind to double their efforts by improving on their sanitation standards so that they would met the Kibo,s set standards. After all that the Kibo staff also moved in the lower section of the village. They were moving in order to know the homes which had not yet constructed their hand washing stations. The Kibo staff were impressed by the many homes which had finished the construction of their hand washing stations. The residents Continued and said that they were only left to plaster the finished hand washing stations before they would get ready for use. Later the committee members requested from the Kibo staff for a general sanitation meeting. That would help to bring everyone community members on board as far as the rightful sanitation standards were. In general according to the hygiene and sanitation of the homes the kibo staff visited was good except the owners plastering their constructed hand washing station.
